The eleventh game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw Multan Sultans defeat Karachi Kings by a score of three runs. After being given the opportunity to bat first, the Sultans set a lofty goal of 197 before holding the Kings to 193-5 in 20 overs. In response to the significant target, Vince and Wade put up a 72-run partnership for the first wicket to put their team in command.

However, Usama Mir, a spinner, managed to break the partnership by trapping Wade for a leg by wicket. After a mix-up involving him and Haider Ali, Vince was forced to leave in the tenth over.

Haider was the third hitter to be struck out, attempting to play a cut shot off Khushdil Shah, but the ball edged and landed in Rizwan’s gloves. Shoaib Malik attempted to smash Abbas Afridi for a six, but he was unable to clear the fence, and Kieron Pollard made an incredible catch to dismiss him. Abbas Afridi held off 15 runs in the final over to enable his team prevail.

Shan, who had struggled in the previous games, found his form again and teamed up with captain Rizwan to give his team a significant advantage. Rilee Rossouw, who is now in good form, joined the fray and carried on where he left off in the last game.

The two batters pulled together an incredible 109-run partnership for the second wicket, but Rizwan was responsible for 77 of those runs. Malik and Mohammed Umar each got one wicket for Karachi.

Multan Sultans now leads the points standings, while Karachi is ranked fourth with two points. Karachi must maintain winning games to keep control of their own destiny.
