Shaheen Afridi disappointed after invasion of privacy

Shaheen Afridi was disappointed when internet users posted the speedster’s wedding photos online without his permission, violating his right to privacy.

Pictures of the bowler and his wife were posted on social media soon after Afridi’s nikkah.

“It’s very disappointing that despite many and repeated requests, our privacy was hurt and people kept on sharing it further without any guilt,” Afridi tweeted on Saturday.

“I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to spoil our memorable big day,” he added.

Afridi married Ansha, the daughter of the late all-round great Shahid Afridi.

In Karachi, the nikkah was solemnised in front of close family members from both families at a nearby mosque.

Two years prior, the pair had previously announced their engagement.

Soon after the nikkah, a reception was also organised. Cricketers from Pakistan Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan were among those in attendance, as well as squash star Jahangir Khan.
