Shahid Afridi, a former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, made it clear on Monday that none of his daughters use social media after a Twitter account imitating one of them surfaced.

The former captain tweeted a screenshot of a bogus Twitter account pretending to be his daughter Ansha.

Ansha, the daughter of the former captain, wed bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi last week.

Taking to twitter he wrote:

Ansha Afridi, a daughter of Afridi, wed renowned bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi on February 4 in a mosque in Karachi.

The cricketers Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan, as well as squash legend Jahangir Khan, attended a reception after the Nikah.

Fans and followers were curious about the bride and groom’s appearance as soon as the photographs went viral. The couple, however, made them question and enquire as they asked the visitors to “switch off” their cell phones.
