Zainab Abbas says she would love to work in IPL
Zainab Abbas, a well-known presenter from Pakistan, stated that if given the chance, she would adore working for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Speaking on a YouTube channel, Zainab advocated for the restoration of business ties between Pakistan and India.
“I don’t think politics should sway India and Pakistan’s business relationships, particularly in sports,” she remarked.
“Sports help us to overcome our differences. There shouldn’t be any obstacles between the two nations’ sports programs. We only communicate during worldwide events like the Asia Cup or ICC competitions. Politics must be put aside, “one of the best presenters in cricket right now, in his opinion.
She responded positively when asked if she’d like to work in IPL. “I think that work should only be considered as work. I will undoubtedly work in IPL if given the chance “She answered.
“I believe there should be no room for negativity and hatred. I hope that business ties between the two nations pick up again. India should visit us so that we can play cricket there “Finally, she said.
It should be mentioned that Zainab has presented at various ICC competitions. She additionally served as a presenter for Pakistan in various leagues.
Only the first season of the IPL in 2008 featured Pakistani players. Since then, Pakistani players have not been asked to participate in India’s competition. The two nations haven’t engaged in bilateral sports since 2012–2013. They only faced off in ICC competitions and the Asia Cup.
