AFG vs. PAK: What did Shadab Khan say about Imad & Faheem?

• Shadab Khan praised the all-rounders Imad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf’s return.

Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s captain for the T20I series against Afghanistan, praised the all-rounders Imad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf’s return to the national team.

Shadab said in a statement that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released that good all-rounders are always a good thing for a T20 team.

He said, “It is very good to have Imad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf back. Solid all-rounders are gold for any T20 line-up and their presence provides a good balance as both have performed really well with the bat and ball in their respective departments.”

In the meantime, Shadab, who will captain Pakistan in Babar Azam’s absence, is pleased to have Ihsanullah and Zaman Khan as pacers in the team.

He added, “I am very excited to see how Ihsanullah and Zaman Khan step up. The two fast and fearsome pace bowlers bowl above 140kph and hit perfect lengths. You can use such bowlers at any stage of the innings and I am looking forward to making the most of their presence. This is going to be a very exciting series and I am eager for it.”

In the current Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, Ihsanullah and Zaman demonstrated their strength. With 20 wickets, Ihsanullah currently ranks second in PSL 8 wicket taking.
