“Extremely saddened to hear about the loss of Ameer Akram Khan. He exemplifies a true hero who served the community of cricket in his own capacity; I have grown up being inspired by him. My prayers & wishes are with his son Ahmed Iqbal Khan for taking his father’s mission forward,” he wrote.
