Islamabad United bowlers were thrashed down by the hands of Sultans batting lineup in today’s first innings of the HBL PSL 8 match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Tim David’s cameo helps Multan Sultans reach a defendable total.

Islamabad, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first. From the start of the innings, the United bowling lineup failed to claim some wickets and were bashed all around the boundary line by the opening pair of Rizwan and Shan Masood.

Shan Masood went on to score 75 runs from 50 deliveries including twelve fours.

Tim David was the star of the show as he made a huge come back in the Multan Sultans squad.

The right-hand batsman went on to score 27-ball 60 runs including four boundaries and five massive sixes.

Islamabad United skipper Shadab Khan was the only bowler yo claim two wickets in his spell.

Multan Sultans scored 205 runs in the first innings leaving a target of 206 runs for the United Army.
