Mitchell Starc & Mitchell Marsh helps Australia to demolish India
In the second one-day international, Australia defeated India by 10 wickets to level the series at 1-1 on Sunday. Mitchell Starc scored 5-53 and Mitchell Marsh scored a blistering 66.
Starc, a left-arm speedy, shook the Indian batting with his speed and swing to package out the resistance for 117 out of 26 overs in Visakhapatnam.
With one game remaining in the three-match series, openers Travis Head (51) and Marsh, who hit six sixes in his 36-ball blitz, decimated the Indian bowling to win in 11 overs.
Australia recovered from their initial loss by winning the chase with 39 overs remaining.

After the tourists decided to bowl first due to overnight rain, Starc took Shubman Gill for a duck, leading the team’s deadly attack.
India fell behind after Suryakumar Yadav was out for a second time in a row for a first-ball duck. Starc struck twice in succession to get skipper Rohit Sharma, who was back, for 13.
KL Rahul completed the hat trick ball but only lasted 11 more deliveries before falling to Starc leg before wicket, who scored 4-31 in his first six overs.
Hardik Pandya was bowled out for one by skipper Steve Smith, who took a stunning one-handed catch at first slip off the bowling of Sean Abbott, who took three wickets.
When Smith took the catch off an edge from Pandya, he went full stretch to his right and was in the air. This caused social media to go crazy with praise for his “superman” effort.
With a score of 31 and four boundaries, Virat Kohli attempted to retaliate for India, but Nathan Ellis kept him in front.
India’s problems worsened when Ravindra Jadeja, the hero of Friday’s first match in Mumbai, was run out for 16 by Ellis’ bowling.
Starc took his ninth five-wicket haul in an ODI to end the innings. Axar Patel, who came into the group instead of Shardul Thakur, was unbeaten on 29 in the wake of hitting two sixes.
As they smashed Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami to the ground, the left-handed Head and Marsh opened fire.
Marsh quickly joined the attack with a series of fours and sixes after Head launched the attack with two straight boundaries off Siraj.
Marsh, who scored 81 in the team’s first defeat, hit two straight sixes off Pandya to reach fifty out of 28 balls.
Head quickly reached fifty, and Marsh hit the winning shot, sending the series decider to Chennai on Wednesday.
