Najam Sethi, the chairman of the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), welcomed foreign and local women cricketers who are taking part in exhibition matches for women to a Hi-Tea at a neighbourhood restaurant in Islamabad.

Three prominent exhibition games for female cricket players are being played for the first time in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). On March 8 at Pindi Cricket Stadium, the first game between Amazons and Super Women had already been played. Amazon lost to Super Women by eight wickets.

All of the cricket players, both domestic and international, attended a Hi-Tea on Thursday at the PCB head’s request. During this meeting, the captains of the two teams, Bismah Maroof and Nida Dar were joined by members of their respective teams.

Sethi had a good time with the cricket players he met. They discussed many topics, including culture and cricket. Cricket players visited the neighbourhood market after eating to do some shopping.

PCB posted images and videos from this event on their social media accounts.

This three-match T20 series features as many as ten overseas cricketers. Laura Wolvaardt, a top-order batter for South Africa, was replaced by Sune Luus, a fellow countrywoman who has already joined the Super Women’s squad in Islamabad.

In the first season of the Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL), Wolvaardt was selected as a replacement player. In the Gujathe rat Giants’ lineup, she has taken the position of Australian Beth Mooney.

The second T20 match between Amazons and Super Women will take place on March 10 at Pindi Cricket Ground. The series’ last and final T20 will take place on March 11.
