Abdul Rehman is a notable headhunter in the northern district of the country. He has worked as a coach in the domestic system for more than ten years. In the Pakistan Super League, he is currently working as an assistant coach for Multan Sultans. Additionally, he assisted the Pakistan Under-19 team during Bangladesh’s November 2017 visit to Multan.
On the other hand, after he retired, Umar Gul immediately got into coaching. He was the bowling coach for the PSL’s Quetta Gladiators. He also served as Afghanistan’s bowling coach for a brief time last year before it ended in December.
