Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s captain for the Afghanistan T20I series, urged fans to cheer on the young players.
Shadab stated that he is excited to lead a young and energetic squad on Twitter whiltravellingng to Sharjah.
He wrote, “A dream for any Pakistani to captain the national cricket team. Can’t thank Allah enough. Really excited to lead this young team, loads of talent. We will try to play aggressive and progressive cricket. Remember to back the youngsters, they are our future.”

The captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have received rest days.
Shadab, the team’s vice-captain in white-ball games, will lead the team when Babar isn’t there. Youngsters like Saim Ayub, Azam Khan, Ihsanullah, and Zaman Khan, who did well in the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), have been selected for the national team to represent Afghanistan in the series.
