With his prior injury fully healed, Kylian Mbappe is expected to start for Paris Saint-Germain against Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 matchups.

A thigh ailment forced the French forward to come off the bench in the 1-0 loss to Munich in the first leg. Defender Achraf Hakimi, who was accused of rape last week, is also in the starting lineup.

Carlos Soler and youngster Warren Zaire-Emery are replaced by midfielders Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha while Neymar is out with a season-ending ankle injury that will require surgery.
Joshua Kimmich’s captaincy will be taken by Thomas Mueller after Bayern made three changes to the team that triumphed in Paris last month.

Leroy Sane and Joao Cancelo are benched in favour of Alphonso Davies and Josip Stanisic.

Due to his suspension, France’s Benjamin Pavard will not play in the game.
