What is Rizwan trying to convey to Multan Sultans fans?
Mohammad Rizwan, captain of the Multan Sultans, sent a sincere message to everyone who had supported his team during the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Tuesday.
In the tournament’s final on March 18 at the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the Sultans were defeated by the Lahore Qalandars. The Sultans finished second in the series for the third year in a row.
Rizwan expressed gratitude to his team’s supporters for their unwavering support throughout the tournament on Twitter.
Tweeted Sultans captain: “A huge shout-out to the fans all across Pakistan for the endless support to Multan Sultans throughout the league. Wherever we played, you were our pillar of strength. Congratulations to Lahore Qalandars for being well deserved champions.”

Rizwan was named PSL 8’s best batter and wicket-keeper. He scored 550 runs at a strike rate of 142.85, including a century and four half-centuries, in the competition. He represented 14 hitters (13 gets and one stump).
In total, four Sultans players won awards in their respective categories. Rizwan and the young Ihsanullah each received two awards, while Kieron Pollard and Abbas Afridi each received one award.
