Preity Zinta, the co-owner of the Punjab Kings IPL franchise, experienced a whirlwind of emotions during an exciting match against the Mumbai Indians in Mullanpur.

The game saw various shifts in momentum where both teams had their moments of dominance, but ultimately, the five-time champions emerged victorious.

Zinta is almost always present at Punjab Kings’ matches, whether they’re home or away, but her team’s performance in the tournament has been inconsistent so far.

Out of seven games, they’ve lost five and won only two. They currently sit in ninth place on the points table, just above the last-placed Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The Mumbai Indians set a target of 193 for the Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali on Thursday.

Suryakumar Yadav was the top scorer for MI with a knock of 78 runs, while Tilak Varma remained not out with 34 runs off 18 balls. Rohit Sharma added a valuable 38 runs at the top of the order, while Harshal Patel was the star with the ball for PBKS, taking three wickets!

Ashutosh Sharma kept the home team in the chase but was dismissed for 183 in the final over.

He hit 61 off 28 balls, while Shashank Singh added 41 off 25 balls. Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee were the standout bowlers, each taking three wickets.
