The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a bold new visual identity for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, aiming to modernize the brand with a distinctive, digital-first approach.

The men’s Champions Trophy will return in 2025 after a six-year hiatus, featuring the world’s top eight teams in a two-week competition. For the first time, a women’s T20 Champions Trophy will also debut, with the top six teams competing, adding an exciting layer to the tournament’s lineup.

The ICC’s refreshed brand design for the Champions Trophy is inspired by cricket’s unique culture and terminology, aiming to bring an energetic, contemporary edge to the tournament. The revamped logo combines vivid colors and typographic elements to mirror the vibrant atmosphere of the games, and the competition will be marked by the symbolic white jackets awarded to the champions.

Anurag Dahiya, ICC Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement over the reimagined design, noting that the dual return of the men’s tournament and the launch of the women’s event offered an opportunity to develop a fun, dynamic brand identity.

Dahiya highlighted the intense matchups and traditions the tournament will showcase, underscoring the white jackets as a nod to the Champions Trophy’s heritage.

The tournament, set for February 19 to March 9, 2025, will be held in Pakistan, with matches taking place across Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The tournament’s opener will feature New Zealand and Pakistan in Karachi, with Lahore hosting the final.
