Mohsin Naqvi visits Gaddafi Stadium early morning to review preparations
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, returning from China, wasted no time and reached Gaddafi Stadium early in the morning to review the arrangements for the grand inauguration ceremony.
Naqvi emphasized the need for exceptional arrangements, stating that the event should reflect the grandeur of the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium. He called it a moment of pride for Pakistan and credited the entire team for completing the stadium’s renovation in record time.
He further stated that the stadium is now one of the most beautiful and world-class cricket venues. Expressing gratitude, he said he was thankful to Allah for fulfilling the promise made to the nation.
Naqvi also acknowledged the efforts of workers, FWO, NESPAK, contractors, and PCB officials, appreciating their dedication in making this project a reality. He assured that cricket fans and players would enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities provided in the stadium.
The newly constructed Gaddafi Stadium will be officially inaugurated today, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presiding over the ceremony. The event is open to the public with free entry.
The grand inauguration ceremony will feature performances by renowned singers, including Ali Zafar, Arif Lohar, and Aima Baig. Additionally, there will be a mesmerizing fireworks display, a spectacular light show, and traditional drum performances.
