Kuala Lumpur: FIH Men’s Hockey Nations Cup 2025 is set to unfold at the National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a showdown between Pakistan and New Zealand.
The match kicks off at 6:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), promising an exhilarating contest that will crown this year’s champion and secure a vital spot in the prestigious FIH Pro League, the pinnacle of international men’s hockey.
Pakistan advanced to the final after a dramatic penalty shootout victory against the previously undefeated France, marking a significant milestone for Ammad Butt’s squad.
Their opponents, New Zealand, known as the Black Sticks, secured their place in the final with a resilient comeback win over South Korea. Notably, New Zealand had previously handed Pakistan a 4-3 defeat during the group stage.
While PTV Sports has expressed interest in broadcasting the match, current reports suggest that live telecast on their platform may not be feasible.
