Sunday at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first against the West Indies in the last one-day international of the three-match series.

The three-game series is part of the Super League cycle, and both teams are keen to gain the points necessary to qualify for the 2023 World Cup.
Pakistan has never played host to a bilateral series during the hottest month of the year (June). Even though Pakistan hosted the 2008 Asia Cup in Lahore and Karachi during the same month, Multan’s climate could offer a significant obstacle for both teams.
