Pakistan national team has started training at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from June 26. The Shaheens are playing a two-day practice match in the preparation for the Test series against Sri Lanka.
The players will be given adequate training during the practice sessions that will last till July 2.

Pakistan will visit Sri Lanka next month for a two-match Test series starting from July 16.
The national team will depart for the tour on July 6, and will play a three-day warm-up match ahead of the series.

The first Test between the two teams will start in Galle on July 16, while the second Test will be played in Colombo from July 24.

A national squad for the tour of Sri Lanka has also been announced, with Yasir Shah and former captain Sarfraz Ahmed returning, while Babar Azam has been named captain and Mohammad Rizwan vice-captain.
Also in the squad are Abdullah Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Fahim Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Imamul Haq, Muhammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfraz Ahmed (wicket-keeper), Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah. Afridi and Shaun Masood have been included.
