Here’s how to get your online Covid Vaccination certificate

Covid Vaccination

As the Covid vaccination program in Pakistan gains traction and the number of vaccinated citizens increases by the day, one of the most often asked questions is: How can I obtain proof of vaccination/certificate of vaccination?

We’ve put up a quick guide to the vaccination certificate procedure and what to do if something goes wrong.

What is the procedure for obtaining the certificate?

To apply for a Covid-19 vaccination certificate online, go to the National Immunisation Management System (NIMS) website and enter your computerized national identity card information (CNIC).

The certificate fee is Rs100 and can be paid with a debit or credit card.

A certificate can also be downloaded if you have only been partially vaccinated, according to the website.

You can also receive your vaccination certificate from a National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) center.

The next step is to enter your name and nationality as they appear on your CNIC.

Covid Vaccination

After that, you must enter your payment information.

Once the payment has been made, you can print a receipt, double-check your details, and that’s it! Your certificate is now available for download.

How do I change my details?

You can change specific information on your vaccination certificate, such as your name if it’s misspelled, your passport number, or your nationality, by visiting the website and re-entering your information, according to NIMS. It will then redirect you to a website where you can select “modify data on certificate” and correct your information.

The remainder of the steps are the same: submit your credit card information, pay the Rs100 cost, and download your certificate.

How do I get corrections done?

Mehar Khursheed, a spokesperson for the Sindh Health Department, said that every vaccination station in the province has a complaint desk. Citizens might contact the desks if there was a data input error, and they would look into it on a case-by-case basis.

Thailand began its large-scale vaccination program on Monday

Thailand began its large-scale vaccination program on Monday

Thailand government begins mass vaccination program while facing criticsm from opposition leaders because of the lack of vaccine supply.

As the hopes of tourism reopening look despair due to the Covid-19 surge, Thailand is facing criticism of delays and concerns over health authorities being dependent on AstraZeneca shots produced by the company owned by the country’s king.

Since the start of the pandemic, Thailand, one of the most visited countries in the world, is combating a third Covid-19 wave with the highest numbers of deaths and daily cases, raising public concerns over adequate access to vaccines.

Prime Minister Prayut tried to encourage the public that there would be enough vaccines while observing the mass rollout outside Capital City’s Bang Sue Grand Station.

He said, “People are concerned about Covid-19 vaccine arrangement. The government has not been ignoring that, concerned offices have been instructed to urgently negotiate to find more vaccines to every willing Thai,”

According to the country’s Public Relations Department, 6 million shorts are planned to be administered in June.

25 vaccination stations were set up outside hospitals, malls, subway stations, gymnasiums, gas stations and university campuses in Bangkok on Monday.

Out of the total population of 69 million people, only 4% of the people have received at least one shot of the vaccine while the country’s ambitious plan to vaccinate 70% of the people looks strenuous, thus the government is facing criticism from opposition leaders for being over-reliant on one supplier.

As of Tuesday, 1297 deaths and 182,548 Covid-19 cases had been reported by Thailand’s health ministry.

Siddiqui went on to write,

“I have been asked multiple questions before and after my vaccination by family and friends worried about the efficacy and safety of the vaccine. Yes, I also read those sporadic reports of after effects of the vaccine, which have made people wary. I had my share of doubts too. Then I consulted my friend, Dr. Junaid Ali Shah, who assured me that my fears were unfounded and gave a go ahead. And by Allah’s grace, I am feeling perfectly fine.”

He concluded by writing,

“The onus to combat the pandemic is on us. Those who are sceptical of whether to go ahead with the vaccine or not, as someone who’s got inoculated recently, my vote is with the vaccination. Yet, please consult your personal doctor, specially those who are on medication or are immuno compromised.”
