There has been a lot of uncertainty regarding the unannounced Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition). The phone will not be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
The production is said to be resumed according to @rquandt on Twitter.

The S21 FE was previously rumored to have been delayed due to a shortage of chips. There have been reports that phone might not be released outside the USA and Europe. However, some clues indicate that the phone might hit the shelves in Japan.
It is still not clear whether the S21 FE will be released globally or in selected markets only. But the important thing is that the production is now back on track.
Galaxy S20 FE was also not unveiled at the Galaxy unpacked 2020, but at a separate event that took place a month later.
There’s no official word yet on when the Galaxy S21 FE might be unveiled, aside from a vague “Fall 2021” timeframe. However, if the global semiconductor shortage won’t cause any more issues, it’s possible that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 FE in September, exactly one year after the original model was unveiled.
