WhatsApp has begun rolling out message reactions feature to its users

WhatsApp’s message responses function, which was unveiled last month, is now available to all users. You long-press on a WhatsApp message and pick the emoji you wish to react with, similar to how Facebook reactions work.

Right now, you can pick from six emojis – as illustrated below in a Facebook post by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg – but WhatsApp has vowed to extend support for additional emojis and skin tones in the future.

The message responses function is currently accessible for certain WhatsApp users on the most recent version, but it will take a week or two until it is available to all WhatsApp users worldwide.

WhatsApp users may now exchange bigger files in addition to responding to conversations with emojis, as the file transfer limit has been expanded from 100MB to 2GB.

Furthermore, WhatsApp increased the maximum number of members in a group conversation from 256 to 512. However, WhatsApp claims it will “eventually roll out the ability” to add up to 512 individuals to a group, so you’ll have to wait until then.
