- Amazon announced that iOS users will soon be able to digitally try on shoes.

In a blog post, Amazon revealed that iOS users would soon be able to digitally try on virtual shoes. Customers in the United States and Canada can try on shoes from a variety of brands, including New Balance, Adidas, Reebok, and others.

Customers can just aim their camera at their feet and click through a range of shoes to see how they look from various angles in this virtual try-on. The tool, however, cannot be used to calculate shoe sizes. While the new function is now only accessible for iPhone 7 and newer users on iOS, Amazon announced in a blog post that it will be available for Android users shortly.
In 2017, The App introduced an augmented reality function in its app that allowed consumers to see how a piece of furniture would appear in their home. Clients could put on cosmetics in the app thanks to a relationship with L’Oréal, and an AR feature related to its brick-and-mortar the App Salon allowed customers to preview how haircuts and hair colours appear on them before scissors, clippers, and curlers were used. Some spectacles and Made for You custom-fit T-shirts are among the other goods having try-on capabilities on Amazon’s app.

Customers in the United States and Canada may try on virtual shoes by scanning the QR code on Amazon’s website or searching for “Virtual Try On” in the Amazon iOS app.
