Enhanced Safe Browsing, a Chrome feature that shares website URLs with Google to help it maintain a database of harmful sites, is coming to the iOS app, Google revealed today. Google said the functionality will be accessible on iPhone and iPad with its next iOS update.

Google is also upgrading the browser’s iOS translation capability. An enhanced language recognition model will more reliably detect when you visit a foreign site that needs to be automatically translated.
UI adjustments are also coming. Chrome Actions, a feature that lets you delete browsing data or create an incognito tab by typing (or speaking) in the address bar, is rolling out to iOS. Chrome’s launch page will prioritise initiating a new search or browsing frequently visited sites, in addition to presenting recent tabs. Chrome’s settings menu will be more scannable and highlight commonly used features.

Google reminds users that Chrome may automatically enter stored passwords in any iOS app, not just the browser. The functionality has been online since October of last year, and instructions may be found on this Google support page. Chrome’s built-in password manager is better than attempting to remember all your credentials or reusing passwords throughout the internet.
