It is well known that Netflix intends to introduce a less expensive subscription package with advertisements.

The American streaming juggernaut has previously confirmed the information and is presently experimenting with the less expensive ad tier in selected areas of the country.

According to a recent article from an international source, the ad tier might cost roughly $7, making it even more affordable in Pakistan.

The most costly Netflix plan available in Pakistan right now costs Rs. 1,100.

You can simultaneously watch 4K HDR streaming content from the Premium tier on a TV, a smartphone, a computer, or a tablet. In the US, this tier is more than Rs. 4,000 expensive.

So, if the subscription model with commercials will only cost $7 (Rs. 1,550) in the US, we may anticipate that it will be far less expensive in Pakistan.

It can cost between Rs. 500 and Rs. 900, or less than Rs. 1,000. However, there will be some downgrades to the ad-supported tier.

Apart from the apparent addition of advertisements, Netflix executives have revealed that certain content would not be available at launch for the cheaper tier, and you won’t be able to download shows for offline viewing.

The article states that Netflix intends to offer you four minutes of advertisements per hour. These advertisements will appear both before and during your Netflix video.

According to a previous report from a week ago, the streaming giant does not have any intentions to include advertisements in either its kids’ material or Netflix original movies.

Pakistan won’t get the ad tier until 2023. In the fourth quarter of this year, Netflix only intends to introduce the new membership model in “half a dozen markets,” with a wider introduction planned for early 2023.
