Reels updates Instagram with ‘Add Yours’ stickers, and more
There is a new update for people who use Instagram. This time, the company is putting most of its attention on Reels and adding new features that could help content creators reach more people.
With the update, users will also be able to use Reels insights to learn more about the content they share and create.
Reels users can now access the “Add Yours” sticker. The sticker is popular on Instagram but exclusive to Instagram Stories. Instagram Reels users can now publish them.
Add your stickers will include an attribution link so the trend’s creator can be credited if it goes widespread. If the inventor wishes to remain anonymous, they can disable this attribution.
This app will crosspost Reels to Facebook. This requires a Facebook link. Images could be crossposted but not reels.
Creators will have new tools to monitor reel metrics, including reach, average viewing time, and more. These should help expand audiences.
When trying to build a brand on social media, knowing how many people saw each post can be helpful.
Instagram has had a rocky few weeks, having to reverse several modifications owing to user complaints. Social media networks are attacked for adapting to TikTok.
Instagram attempted to provide full-screen photos and videos in its feed. Instagram reversed its changes after users voiced their displeasure.
The corporation understands its audience but says things must change.
