Facebook Stars, Meta’s monetization tool for content creators, is now available to all eligible content creators in Pakistan. This will help them connect with their audiences and build a business.

Stars are a digital good that fans can buy and send to creators to support them. Pakistani online content creators will be able to easily join Stars, check their income by type of content, maintain their goals, and access other Stars settings.

This tool can be used in many different ways, including Facebook Reels, Facebook Live, on-demand videos, photos, and text posts.

Meta introduced short-form, amusing video experiences and tools to producers and audiences in Pakistan this year. Today, Reels are the type of content on Meta platforms that is growing the fastest. More than 140 billion Reels are played every day on Facebook and Instagram.

“We’re glad to see that Meta is helping local businesses in Pakistan and giving Pakistani content creators more ways to make money on their platforms in a way that’s reliable and useful. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was in Singapore today to visit the Meta regional office. He said, “We hope the Stars programme will give us new ways to make money and help strengthen the digital economy of the country.”

Any Pakistani creator who has had at least 1,000 online followers in the last 60 days and meets the following requirements can start getting Stars from their viewers.
