Google delegation of five people has arrived in Pakistan

• A five-member delegation of American search giant Google has arrived in Pakistan.

Google’s five-member delegation has arrived in Pakistan. According to reports, the team will meet with Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Aminul Haque and other stakeholders to discuss establishing operations in Pakistan.

Today, the Google delegation is expected to meet with Haque and discuss issues of mutual concern. According to reports, the delegation will also meet with Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Maj Gen Amir Azeem Bajwa (retired), among other key officials.

According to the IT minister, the Google team will discuss the establishment of a liaison office in Pakistan, as well as investment opportunities in the country.

He said, “The Google team will discuss the opening of a dedicated office in the country. By opening the office, they will get to know the culture and traditions of Pakistan”. If you don’t already know, Google Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has been registered under the Companies Act, 2017 for the purpose of establishing a liaison office in Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under Section 435 of the Companies Act, 2017.”

IT officials are optimistic that companies like Google, Facebook, and other social media platforms that generate a lot of money in Pakistan will set up shop there. It will aid them in comprehending Pakistani culture, traditions, and religious beliefs.

According to the Minister of Information and Telecommunications, if Google and other tech or social media companies set up their offices in the country, we could refer to these offices in case of any dispute and discuss the matter.”
