The official release date for the BYD Corvette 07 is December 9, and the pre-sale price will be between $32,000 and $40,750. The 2007 Corvette should be available in six different trims with three different battery options. The front of the SUV is complicated, with a wide six-bar grille topped by a smaller grille with the glowing BYD logo in the middle and headlights on either side. BYD said that “ripple waves” were the inspiration for the grille’s shape.

The BYD Corvette 07 is a PHEV that comes in two versions: DM-i and DM-p. The gasoline engine in both versions is a 1.5 turbo with 102 kW. The new SUV is expected to have batteries with capacities of 18.3 kWh and 36.8 kWh, which will give it a range of 100 km and 205 km, respectively. Different models will take between 8.5, 8.9, and 4.7 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h in a sprint. The total range for cruising is up to 1200 km, and the SUV can be charged quickly with up to 75 kW of power.

The DM-i combines pairs with a single electric motor on the front axle, giving it a total output of 197 hp. On the other hand, the DM-p combines the gasoline engine with two electric motors, one on the front axle and one on the back axle. This gives it the ability to make 295 kW and 656 Nm.

The first BYD car that works with Apple’s NFC digital key is the Corvette 07. The car can be unlocked and locked with an iPhone or Apple Watch as well as an Android device. At the back, the BYD Corvette 07 has a two-piece roof spoiler that stands out. Also, there is a light bar at the back that says “Build Your Dreams” in the middle.
