Samsung Galaxy A74 Might not release with Upcoming A-handsets; A7x Series Discontinued

Between Samsung’s top-of-the-line and mid-range phones is the Galaxy A7x line, which offers high-end specs at an affordable price. The Samsung Galaxy A73 was the last phone in the line to come out in April 2022. While everyone is waiting for its next-generation version, there is talk that the chain will not release the A74.

Several tech news sites are using a report from GalaxyClub to say that the Galaxy A7x series will end before the A74 comes out in 2023. Based on what GalaxyClub has done in the past, the claim sounds like it could be true. The report also says that the A14 and A54 have been seen a lot on certifications and firmware sites, but there is still no news about the Galaxy A74, which costs more.

Since A7x phones were often at the centre of leaks in the past, it’s safe to assume that A74 will be taken off the market. Reports say that by now, the Galaxy A74 should have been found on certification links, firmware sites, or benchmarks.

Even without the news, the fact that the Galaxy A73 is sold in fewer countries than the A72 was last year is a clear sign that Samsung is trying to slow down or stop adding A7x phones to its price list.

Before you jump to any conclusions, we’d like to point out that these rumours are just guesses, and Samsung might still be working on the A74. We should wait until the government tells us what to do. SoCs for the Galaxy A54 and A14 have been leaked through Geekbench, and the phones should come out soon.

Samsung Galaxy A54 is looking for a new chip from Samsung called Exynos 1380, which needs to score at least 776 points on a single core and 2599 points on all cores. The model probably has a 50MP camera head, a 5100mAh battery, and a 25W charging speed.
