Elon Musk and Twitter have just made their deal official. Soon after that, Elon took full control of Twitter. In the first week, he made a lot of changes. One of them was letting go of a lot of people at the same time. People who worked for Twitter have been fired by the thousands. All of this happened in a very short amount of time. Many employees didn’t like what Elon did, so soon after he fired a lot of people, they sued him.

Now, a lot of other former Twitter employees have sued Elon Musk for firing them in an unfair way. Also, a lawsuit was filed in San Francisco against the platform for turning the work office into a bedroom so that employees could sleep on the job.

In a statement, attorney Shannon Liss-Riordan, who is suing Elon Musk in one of these cases, said, “It’s really troubling that the richest man in the world believes he can walk all over employee rights and not have to respect the law, and we intend to hold him accountable.”Even Elon’s lawyer’s word doesn’t seem to be good. He says that some workers aren’t getting the money and other benefits that were promised to them before Musk took over.

Lawyers say that this was a secret plan to fire people that broke California law by not giving workers the right pay and giving them 60 days’ notice. In response to Musk’s strict demand that employees either agree with his vision for the company and adopt a “hardcore” work ethic or take three months’ pay and leave, other claims are being made. In either case, the statement says, it is against the law. Musk’s dislike of people who work from home is also being questioned by people with disabilities or health problems who think they should not have to go back to work.

So, yes. There was nothing else to say about the news. In the eyes of the law, neither the platform nor Elon Musk are doing well. Let’s see what the courts say and when they say it, as well as how Musk deals with the situation.
