Vivo Y35 5G is Now Official with D700 Chip, HD+ Screen, 13MP Camera

The version of the Vivo Y35 that works with 5G just came out in China. For those who don’t know, Vivo already has a 4G version of the Y35 with a Snapdragon 680 SoC docked in most Asian markets, including Pakistan. The new version makes up for the fact that it doesn’t have 5G bands by taking away some of the most popular features of the Y35.

Compared to the original, the Vivo Y35 5G has a lower screen resolution, pixel density, contrast ratio, refresh rate, GPU performance, charging speed, and, most importantly, a worse camera. Here are the phone’s known features and how much it will cost:

The 6.51-inch IPS screen on the Y35 5G has an annoying teardrop-shaped cutout in the middle. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. Its ratio of body to bezel, which is 88.9%, is a bit of a surprise.

The Y35 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery and an 18W plug to charge it. The new Vivo 5G phone runs on a Dimensity 700 chipset and comes with 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It can only be bought in China, so it comes with Android 13 and the Origin OS.

The front panel hides a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies, and the back panel has two protruding lenses that hold a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an LED flash. The most important features are 5G, dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, an audio port, and a fingerprint reader on the power button.

The Vivo Y35 5G comes in black, blue, and gold gradients. For 4+128GB, it will cost 172 USD, 6+128GB will cost 201 USD, and 8+128GB will cost 215 USD. Pakistan doesn’t want 5G, so there’s not much chance that it will come here. The 4G version of the Y35 was first sold in Pakistan for Rs. 59,999, but after a recent price increase, it now costs even more than the Vivo Y55.
