The pre-orders for the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro started long before the phones were officially announced. It didn’t take long for the phones to make their official debut. After a short delay, Xiaomi has shown off the Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro in all their glory. Along with the chain, Redmi Buds 4, Watch S1 Pro, and MIUI 14, which is Mi’s official Android 13, have also been released.

The phones that come after the Mi 12 and Mi 12 Pro have different screen sizes and, this time, different design styles. The edges of the Xiaomi 13 Pro are rounded, which is typical of flagship phones. The Vanilla Xiaomi 13 follows the modern trend of having a flat, slab-like shape with straight edges.

The only difference between the two sets is the screen. The Xiaomi 13 Pro with a curved screen has a 6.73-inch QHD+ screen. The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a flat screen. Each phone has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG.

The pair has IP68 protection from dust and water. The latest Xiaomi 5G phones also have Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and nano-skin technology, which makes it easier to clean the back panel. When it comes to photography, the two are a little different.

The Xiaomi 13 has a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens on the back. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has three 50-megapixel cameras: a main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera. Their 16-megapixel selfie cameras are built right into their screens. The sensors are tuned by Leica for better image quality.

The Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro use 4,500mAh and 4,820mAh batteries with 67W and 120W plugs, respectively. They have 50W of wireless charging and 10W of wireless charging in the other direction.
