Xiaomi claims MIUI 14 is 60% faster on12S Ultra
Xiaomi finally released their MIUI operating system. It has 564 million monthly active users worldwide. The Xiaomi 13 series launched at the same time as MIUI 14, the brand’s latest Android version.
Xiaomi claims this MIUI version is efficient and simplified. MIUI 14’s developer team enhanced the Android Kernel with CPU, GPU, and memory resource scheduling. This reduces firmware sizes and memory use.

Another neat optimization is the choice to disable permanent notifications. Up to eight system apps can now be uninstalled, an improvement over prior MIUI iterations.
MIUI 14 has customisable folders with large and tiny icons and additional widget settings. The new MUI 14 widgets for pets and flowers are animated Tamagotchi-like figures.
MIUI 14 merges duplicate files and pulls text from gallery photos. Local processing and end-to-end encryption promote privacy.
The update adds a setting that lets you drag-and-drop Xiaomi accessories like wireless headphones between devices. This function will eliminate earbud pairing.
Family accounts allow up to nine people to share images and cloud subscriptions. Users can share their smartwatch’s health-tracking data with family members.
Xiaomi tablets can switch keyboards and mice, mirror screens, and stretch displays.
