WhatsApp will soon include new camera modes, blocking shortcut
WhatsApp will soon receive two new features that will make it easier to use Messenger. The first feature allows you to block a contact directly from the message notification pop-up, while the second provides distinct tabs for capturing photos and recording videos from within the app.
To block someone on WhatsApp right now, open the app, choose the chat, touch on the contact information, and then select the option to block the contact.

This option will only appear for contacts that are not saved on your device, to protect you from accidentally blocking them.
To record a video on WhatsApp, you must currently press and hold the camera shutter button. If you want to film a long video, it can be challenging.
WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature that includes multiple tabs for taking photos and recording videos. To capture a video, simply select the video mode in the viewfinder and give the record button a quick tap.
These functions are expected to be added to the app’s stable version in the next few months.
