OnePlus 11 Prototype Phone Is revealed With Active Cryoflux
OnePlus today presented the OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone, which has been teased for several weeks. The device, which is not intended for mass production, is intended to demonstrate the company’s new Active CryoFlux cooling system.
Active CryoFlux is a fancy name for a closed-loop liquid cooling system similar to that found on a desktop PC but significantly scaled down for use in a smartphone.
A ceramic piezoelectric micropump at the heart of the device circulates fluid through a series of tubes between an upper and lower diaphragm. The micropump occupies less than 0.2 cm2 of device area. The pump circulates the fluid, which flows along the tubing that serves as a heat sink and radiator, absorbing heat from the SOC and gently releasing it as it returns to the pump.
According to OnePlus, the Active Cryoflux may reduce temperatures by up to 2.1°C, which equates to an additional 3–4 FPS in a game. Temperatures can be reduced by 1.6 °C during charging, reducing charging time by 30-45 seconds.
The remaining aspects are primarily cosmetic in nature. OnePlus chose a curved, transparent glass for the back cover, which the firm claims is unibody despite the fact that there is plainly a frame around the edges. The back cover reveals the tubing beneath, which is partially lit. The region around the camera has also been lit, and there is a new Guilloche etching pattern on the camera.
