Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series will receive a security update in February 2023
The Galaxy Tab S8 series is the first set of Samsung tablets to receive the February 2023 security upgrade. The new version is currently being rolled out in Europe, and it may be available in other nations across the world within the next several weeks. Samsung is also likely to release the One UI 5.1 update next month.
The most recent software update for the Galaxy Tab S8 is X70xBXXU3BWB4, while the updates for the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra are X80xBXXU3BWB4 and X90xBXXU3BWB4, respectively. The latest update includes the February 2023 security patch, which addresses around four dozen security issues. It may also include basic bug fixes and improvements to device stability.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series device in Europe, go to Settings » Software Update and hit “Download and install.” You can also manually flash the new firmware file by downloading it from our firmware database.
Every year, Samsung introduces a new Galaxy Tab series. The Galaxy Tab S8 series was released in February 2022; however, Samsung has yet to release its successor this year, and it is speculated that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will be released in the second half of this year or early in 2023.
