Meta launched paid verification service for Facebook and Instagram users in US
Meta just launched a paid verification service inspired by Twitter in Australia and New Zealand. Meta has now launched a paid verification service for Facebook and Instagram users in the United States. If you sign up on the web, the service costs $11.99 a month, or $14.99 if you sign up through a mobile app store.
The first option merely provides a blue checkmark for Facebook. The second choice, on the other hand, is available on both Facebook and Instagram.
You also receive “proactive impersonation protection.” with the service in addition to the badge. Also, you will have direct access to customer service, special stickers, and 100 Facebook “Stars” per month to support other authors.
Also, you must be at least 18 years old to use this service. Also, you must go through a verification process that requires a photo ID. Also, you must activate two-factor authentication.
By using Meta Verified, you must go through the verification procedure again if you want to modify your username, profile name, photo, or date of birth.
Go to your settings on Facebook or Instagram and select Accounts Center to launch Meta Verified. You’ll see “Meta Verified available” under your name and profile photo if the paid verification service is accessible for your account. You can finish by tapping it, adding a payment method, and going through the verification procedure.
For those who are already verified on Facebook and Instagram, Meta Verified is free.
