OnePlus Nord CE 3 Specs Unveiled: 120Hz display, 782G SoC
There has recently been significant misunderstanding over the impending OnePlus 3 because of two contradictory reports on its specs. The new CE model was not immune to this ambiguity; leaked AIDA64 pictures disclosed certain specs back in January, but a new report on the OnePlus North CE 3 portrays a different picture.
The new CE will sport a 6.72″ 120Hz FHD+ display that will purportedly be an AMOLED panel rather than an LCD panel, as previously claimed. According to MySmartPrice’s sources, it will also be powered by the Snapdragon 782G rather than the SD 695. The chipset will be combined with 8/12GB of RAM and storage of 128/256GB.
The discrepancies continue, with the main camera rumored to use a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor rather than a 108MP sensor. It will come with 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro modules, as well as a 16MP selfie camera.
Finally, according to the sources, the Nord CE 3 will include a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
There was also a leak last month with OnePlus Nord 3 (non-CE) specs, which include a Dimensity 9000 CPU, a 6.72″ AMOLED display (120Hz), 50+8+2MP rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging. Apart from the chipset, this appears to be a Core Edition device. The Ace 2V, by the way, will also operate on the Dimensity 9000, but it’s unclear whether the 2V and Nord 3 will be identical (there are some unconfirmed differences).
In any case, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is likely to be introduced in July, with the Nord 3 following suit around the same time (perhaps even at the same event). The Ace 2V will be unveiled on March 7th (Tuesday).
