Oppo A2 Reveals With 12GB RAM and 90Hz Display
Oppo has introduced the Oppo A2, the newest member of its A-series, in an official unveiling in China.
The announcement of this new device comes merely two weeks after the release of the Oppo A2X and bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Oppo A79 in India.
Oppo A2 Reveals With 12GB RAM and 90Hz Display
The Oppo A2 is equipped with a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. An important improvement can be seen in the front-facing camera, which has been upgraded to 8 MP. The rear camera system consists of a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. These cameras have the capability to record 1080p videos at 30 FPS.
Under the surface, the Oppo A2 is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, paired with 12 GB of RAM and storage choices of 256 GB or 512 GB. It operates on Android 13 with a ColorOS 13.1 overlay and comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that offers 33W fast charging support. Notably, the Oppo A2 also holds an IP54 rating, signifying its protection against dust and splashes.
The Oppo A2 can be purchased in black, green, and purple color choices, with a starting price of $232 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration. The model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is available for $246.
There is currently no confirmation regarding the availability of this phone in Pakistan.
