The Poco C65, the follow-up to the Poco C55, has been released, featuring an enhanced 90Hz refresh rate screen, improved cameras, and quicker charging capabilities.

Poco C65 Released With 90Hz Display and 50MP Camera

The phone boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. This display is TUV-certified for reduced blue light emissions and supports DC dimming. Poco C65 provides two ways to unlock the device: a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner or facial recognition using the selfie camera. Additionally, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Similar to its forerunner, the Poco C65 runs on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor. However, it provides a choice of 6 GB and 8 GB RAM configurations.

The front camera has been enhanced to 8 MP from 5 MP and incorporates a soft light ring to produce natural lighting effects, even in low-light conditions. On the rear of the phone, you’ll find a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging, although the package includes only a 10W charger. One significant improvement over the Poco C55 is the transition to a USB-C port.

The phone is offered in either a 6/128 GB or an 8/256 GB variant and is accessible in black, blue, or purple colors. Specifics regarding pricing and availability are pending, but given its C-series categorization, it is anticipated to be very budget-friendly, possibly priced at approximately $100 or even lower.
