WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging app, announced it would discontinue support for 35 mobile devices running outdated Apple and Google operating systems.

This decision aims to ensure compatibility with current iOS, Android, and feature phone platforms.

Devices affected include models from Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, LG, and Apple. Despite varying hardware capabilities, some users may find it unexpected that these devices are still in use for accessing WhatsApp, either due to hardware limitations or an inability to upgrade.
