As expected, Vivo has officially launched the V40e in India. The new device follows the design of the V40 and V40 Pro, featuring a 6.67-inch curved OLED display and a dual-camera setup on the back, supported by Vivo’s Aura Light portrait system.

The Vivo V40e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, and is available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB, though storage expansion is not supported. The display boasts FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera with eye autofocus.

On the back, the phone has a 50MP main camera (IMX882) with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. It runs on FuntouchOS 14, based on Android 14, with Vivo promising 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.

The smartphone has a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

The Vivo V40e is available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze. Pricing starts at INR 28,999 ($347) for the 8GB/128GB version and INR 30,999 ($370) for the 8GB/256GB model.
