Today, we’re reviewing the Samsung Galaxy A16 4G, which closely resembles the 5G version we reviewed last month. Like its 5G counterpart, the 4G model comes with a SIM eject tool and a USB-C cable but lacks additional accessories.

Visually, the 4G model has some noticeable differences. While the 5G variant featured a reflective prism-like effect on its rear panel, the 4G model has a matte finish. Our review unit is the Gray version, which has a slight hint of blue.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A16 4G is nearly identical to the 5G model. It features a 6.7-inch 1080x2340px 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and a 50MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup for wide, ultra-wide, and macro shots. The LTE-only version is powered by the same 6nm Helio G99 chipset found in the Galaxy A15 4G.

While performance should be similar, the 4G version may offer slightly different battery life and camera performance. We’ll be testing these in our full review.

As for pricing, the Galaxy A16 5G typically costs around €250 (sometimes discounted to €200), while the 4G model is priced at approximately €190, making it around €50-€60 cheaper.
