Vivo S20 series launched: Features and prices
Vivo has introduced its new S20 series in China, comprising two models: Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro. These smartphones are successors to the Vivo S19 lineup and come in three stylish colors: Phoenix Feather Gold, Jade Dew White, and Pine Smoke Ink.
The Vivo S20 series boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution (1260 x 2800 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. While the Vivo S20 features a flat display, the Pro variant offers a quad-curved design for a premium feel.
Under the hood, the Vivo S20 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. In contrast, the Vivo S20 Pro packs a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Battery-wise, the Vivo S20 includes a massive 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Pro variant, however, comes with a slightly smaller 5,500mAh battery but supports faster 90W charging.
The Vivo S20 offers a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens for photography. It also features a 50MP selfie camera.
The Vivo S20 Pro, on the other hand, steps up the game with a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP Sony primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera.
The Vivo S20 starts at CNY 2,299 for the 8GB/256GB variant, while the 16GB/512GB model costs CNY 2,999. The Vivo S20 Pro is priced at CNY 3,399 for the 12GB/256GB version. Both models are now available for preorder in China.
