Poco C85 offers power-packed 6,000 mAh battery at affordable price of $95

Poco has launched the C85, a budget-friendly smartphone that stands out for its massive battery despite having entry-level specs. The phone is very similar to the recently released Redmi 15C 4G but comes with Poco’s own branding and fresh color options.

Design and Display:

The Poco C85 comes with a big 6.9-inch LCD screen with a 720×1600 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It can get fairly bright, reaching up to 810 nits. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash protection, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm, weighs 205g, and is available in black, green, and purple colors.

Performance and Software:

Under the hood, the C85 runs on a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chip. It comes in two versions: one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and another with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. While Poco hasn’t confirmed the exact software, it’s expected to feature MIUI for Poco on top of a recent Android version.

Cameras:

On the back, the phone has a 50MP main camera for everyday shots, along with a secondary QVGA sensor that doesn’t add much. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera. Both front and rear cameras can record videos at up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Price:

The highlight of the Poco C85 is its huge 6,000 mAh battery, supported by 33W fast charging. Although official prices and regions haven’t been announced yet, the phone is expected to cost around $95, making it an affordable option for those who want long battery life on a budget.
