Pakistan’s first private sector drone technology expo was recently held at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), showcasing cutting-edge unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and counter-UAS technologies.
Organized in collaboration with Drone Tech X, the two-day event took place in December at the NUST campus in Islamabad, with support from the Ministry of Defence Production and DEPO.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by over 50 companies from across the country.
The expo featured live demonstrations highlighting Pakistan’s expertise in the design, development, and support of unmanned aerial systems and associated technologies.
In addition, the event served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between educational institutions and the industry.
The seminar also provided a valuable networking opportunity for both public and private sector stakeholders, fostering partnerships and promoting knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving drone technology sector.
