ALL EYES WILL BE ON DUSTIN JOHNSON AS THE FORMER WORLD NO. 1 GOES FOR HIS SECOND GREEN JACKET AT THE MASTERS THIS YEAR.
After moving into a magnificent new Florida estate last November, the 2020 champion, 37, is expected to arrive at Augusta in excellent spirits.
Johnson, his wife Paulina, and their two boys Tatum and River packed up and relocated from their old Sunshine State hideaway to a posh new abode.
Dustin Johnson, a two-time Major champion, is worth $50 million and has earned about $1.5 million on the PGA Tour this season alone.
Johnson has put his hard-earned money to good use, constructing a home for his young family in Jupiter’s prestigious Admirals Cove.
The beautiful Cove residences are tailor-made for the South Carolina-born pinseeker, with a premium waterfront and on-site golf community.
Restaurants, gyms, and a marina are all within walking distance, and neighbours include racing car driver Lance Cawley and Donald Trump Jr.
There’s even a 45-hole golf course on-site for DJ to practise his swing before the Masters in April.
Even in such a prestigious area, Johnson’s new $14 million family home sticks out.
The 10,134-square-foot property, which was built in 1999, had a complete makeover in 2021 to bring it up to current standards.
Outside, there’s a stunning infinity pool, a fire pit, and a summer kitchen for grilling in every weather.
‘THE BIG-BANG HUBLOT IS MY GO TO’
The true magic, however, is found inside, where there are five massive bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a cutting-edge kitchen, and even a private Jacuzzi.
Johnson has his own cinema room, and the main sitting area has big panoramic windows and open-plan living.
Jupiter is located to the north of West Palm Beach and is known for its numerous canals that cut across the sun-drenched terrain.
And, while DJ does his best to avoid the water on the golf course, he can’t get enough of it away from it.
The property includes its own mooring, which allows him to maintain two luxury vessels ready for a fishing expedition.
‘HE PROBABLY HAS THIRTY SUITS’
Johnson stated to The Robb Report last year that his boats were part of his recharging process with Paulina and the kids.
“I keep calm by going out on my boat and spending time with my kids and Paulina,” he explained.
“I enjoy fishing and diving.” “I’ve got a 41 Bahama and a 76 Viking Sportfish.”
The $4 million Viking Swordfish is 76 feet long and was built exclusively for sport fishing.
There are four bedrooms on board, each with an en-suite bathroom, as well as space for personnel and a kitchen if Johnson wishes to go on a lengthy ocean voyage.
Back on dry land, DJ’s modes of transportation range from his faithful Range Rover to a custom-built Lacern golf buggy.
But it’s on fashion that Johnson spends the most of his money.
His agent, David Winkle, stated that the golfer has an extensive collection of expensive outfits – and another Green Jacket wouldn’t hurt either.
“He probably has 30 outfits that cost three, four, or five thousand dollars each,” he added.
“You name it: Prada, Dolce & Gabbana.”
DJ claims to possess over fifteen Hublot watches, but the bling doesn’t stop there.
“I’m wearing the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang,” he confessed. I own 15 Hublot timepieces.
“The Big Bang Theory is my go-to.” I also have a couple more in the shop that I need to go get.”
Johnson’s preferred timepiece is worth more than $10,000, with some Hublots fetching as much as $88,000.
DJ and his long-term girlfriend Paulina have been together since 2013 and are expected to marry this year following a protracted engagement.
The attractive WAG revealed details of her bachelorette celebration, which included champagne on a private plane to the Caribbean island of St Barts.
Johnson will compete in this year’s Masters in Augusta, which begins on Thursday, April 7.
