On what would have been his ‘first birthday in heaven,’ mum was shot dead at her son’s grave

On his “first birthday in heaven,” a grieving mother was gunned down in a cemetery while visiting the grave of her recently deceased son.

Yolanda N’Gaojia, 52, was shot on March 22 at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery in Texas, US.

The bereaved mother was assassinated on what would have been her son Amir Tajai-Kineh N’Gaojia’s 22nd birthday.

A second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be stable, according to police.

According to KWTX, at the scene, a white Chevrolet Camaro with bullet holes was cordoned off with police tape.

In a series of social media posts, the tragic woman’s ex-husband expressed his grief.

Kineh N’Gaojia in a Facebook post said: “I have no words because I can’t believe this is real. “This is stuff you see on movies but it has become our life. I can’t believe you are gone. “How y’all gonna kill her on her Son birthday at his gravesite??? GOD…Help please.”

“My children will never be the same again,” he continued. Right now, we’re all f***ed.

“‘Those bullets took a precious gem from us, but they also gave us an Amazing Angel to guide us, so you know we’re not going anywhere but up because we know how hard you rode for your family.”

“Thank you for making our lives complete, Soldier. We will miss you.”
