To stay shape, this fit grandmother consumes up to 150 eggs per month
Andrea Sunshine does not appear to be your typical grandmother.
The extremely fit 53-year-old, who has tattoos and long blonde hair, has the toned abs of someone half her age.
Sunshine, on the other hand, is a divorced grandmother of two who spends most of her time in London getting jacked at the gym — and fighting off guys half her age who want to date her.
The half-Dutch, half-Brazilian beauty told Jam Press that she follows a strict health and fitness regimen, eating a balanced diet rich in vegetables and protein.
Her daily caloric intake in six to eight meals can sometimes exceed 3,500 calories. She enjoys broccoli, green beans, corn, egg whites, cauliflower, yam, cabbage, and spinach.
She avoids sweet vegetables like carrots and pumpkin, as well as salt and oil. She does, however, consume sweet potatoes and up to four litres of water per day. The health guru also credits her lean physique to eating up to 150 eggs per month.
Sunshine also follows a strict exercise regimen, working out for at least three hours per day. She will sometimes spend the entire day at the gym, putting in up to eight hours of work.
She begins her workout at the gym, which she affectionately refers to as her “Disneyland,” with an hour of cardio before moving on to weight training.
“People refer to me as a beast,” she told Jam Press. “It doesn’t bother me to be called a fitness grandma; I’m in great shape and feel great.”
She did, however, mention that the attention she receives from younger men at the gym disrupts her workout, and she does not like to entertain the men’s assertiveness.
She claims that many men are under the age of 25, with many falling between the ages of 30 and 35.
Sunshine explained, “Young men have a crush on good-looking mature ladies, so I get hit on all the time.” “I don’t like being the centre of attention.” I despise being interrupted during my session.”
